Arriva Kent Thameside gained the
492 from London Central in last week's round of
Bexleyheath-area tenders, and have put on it
seven new DAF (or VDL Bus, if you like)
DB250RS(LF)s with Wright Pulsar Gemini bodywork. Numbers 6213-6219,
numbered to follow on from the twelve
step-entrance DAFs that returned home a while ago
after their spell on the 85 ended, have entered
service at Dartford garage (DT), and on the first
day of the new order Maidstone-registered 6213 (GK53 AOA) enters Bexleyheath
town centre. Unusually, the route number is to
the left of the via points on the main blind.
