While covering the Central Line
rail replacement yesterday I happened upon the
805. This route is operated by Bharat Travel on
an LLSA basis, and has been strengthened recently
to run with a handful of long-wheelbase Dennis
Dart SLFs. Waiting at Northolt beside 90s
and 120s on their normal terminus point is
10.7-metre Dart T478 PNV in allover white with a
bit of route branding. The 805 serves quite an
important purpose of getting airport workers from
the heavily populated regions north of Heathrow
to the airport early in the morning.
